By means of countless photographs, she demonstrates that the graphic of the woman exhibiting her vulva is just not distinct to European religious art or architecture, but that similar photographs are present in the visual arts and in legendary narratives of goddesses and heroines parting their thighs to expose what she phone calls, "sacred powers".
